Free Spirit Tenby Wills is the foundation stallion for our Section B program. He is black, turning grey. His breeding consists of double injections of Cusop Sheriff, Criban Victor and Farnley Sunlight within the first five generations. He is by Glynhafan Red Hawk (Glannant Cadence x Snow Pony Chickadee) x Clanrose Comanche Moon (Glannant Tango x Green Meadows Banshee). His sire, Glynhafan Redhawk, was awarded the Sire Legion Of Merit in 2008. His paternal grandsire, Glannant Cadence, received the Sire Legion of Merit in 2002. His maternal grandsire, Glannant Tango, received a Sire Legion of Merit in 1998. Cusop Sheriff received the Sire Legion of Merit in 2004.The ponies in his pedigree have had a significant impact on the hunter ponies of today.

Wills is a wonderful pony, full of exuberance and character. He is trained undersaddle for western and english performance. He loves trail riding and is fearless.

MRF Welsh Ponies is blessed to have retained 3 full sibling fillies by Wills and out of Rosmels Sunny Delight.

His get, MRF Victoria, debuted her show career in 2010, placing very well in both performance and in-hand classes. She even won the Sec A/B Ridden Welsh class at the Just For Pleasure WPCSA sanctioned show against a large competetive class. Unfortunately, I didn't pay enough attention to the rules. To earn points in the class, a pony must be at least 4 yrs old. She was 3.

The following year, she earned Year End High Point Awards in:

* 2010 Northeast Region High Point Award - Sec B Mares - 3rd place

* 2011 Northeast Region High Point Award - Adult Trail - Champion

* 2011 Northeast Region High Point Award - Adult English Pleasure Sec A & B - Reserve Champion

* 2011 Northeast Region High Point Award - Long Stirrup Hunter - Reserve Champion *2011 Northeast Region High Point Award - Adult Western Pleasure Sec A & B - 3rd place

(Goldhills Most Wanted x *Rhoson Bon Bon)
Extended Pedigree

Year Of Birth: 2010
Registration No.
Height: 13.1 + hands (mature)

Moon Ridge Farm is proud to announce the addition of Clanfair Perficio as a future sire. He is by the multiple national reserve champion, Goldhills Most Wanted and out of the imported mare, *Rhoson Bon Bon. He is a wonderful mix of domestic and imported lines. He will be crossed on the retained daughters of our Sec B stallion, Free Spirit Tenby Wills as well as Rosmel's Sunny Delight, Pantheon Vivienne and Darden Silver Cloud. We expect him to be a great performance pony.

His sire, Goldhills Most Wanted has earned over 155 total Championships at Welsh shows. He currently has 1,822 Halter points & 1,945 Performance points for a total of 3,767 points. He was pinned WPCSA National Res. Champion Sec. B Colt ~ 2005, WPCSA National Res. Champion Sec. B Stallion ~ 2007 and WPCSA National 3rd Place Sec. B Stallion ~ 2008

His prolific grandsire, Gayfields Call The Cops is sire of 2006 National Champion B Colt, Goldhills Maverick and 2005 Reserve National Champion B Colt, Goldhills Most Wanted, as well as National Champion performance ponies Goldhills Silver Screen and Goldhills Calendar Girl. He is the sire of Sire of 5 Individual Legion of Merit recipients, Goldhills Silver Screen, Goldhills Most Wanted, Goldhills Maverick, Goldhills Mystique and Goldhills All That Glitters.

There is simply too much to write about *Sleight of Hand. He has absolutely had the greatest impact on the Welsh ponies in America today. Read more about him http://www.welshpony.org/Sleight%20of%20Hand2.html.

*Rhoson Bon Bon has been successful as a performance pony, but I think her strength will be as a broodmare. Following is a excerpt from the Rhoson Stud's website regarding Shem.

Unbeaten when shown as a yearling including winning the Royal Welsh . Shem is siring some lovely stock including Rhoson Bon Bon - exported to Clarwood Farms in the USA and Rhoson Dubonnet top price colt foal at the Fayre Oaks sale 2003 - sold to C and C Duke . During 2003 Shem was shown under saddle. Expertly ridden by India Latter qualifying for the NPS Picton final and winning several strong classes and a WPCS Performance Medal .Shem also won a WPCS Bronze medal and qualified for the New London Gold Championship. During the Spring 2004, Shem won the 100 stallion class at Lampeter Stallion Show as well as the breed championship at Glanusk Stallion Show and Ridden Welsh Champion at the National Pony Society Summer Championships as well as qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show in-hand and under saddle, believed to be the first time a Section B pony has achieved such distinction. Shem was named as Male and Overall Champion Welsh Section B at the Royal Welsh Show 2006, also claiming the Cuddy Championship and therefore qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show for a second time. "Welshness in abundance, movement covering the ground and the conformation of the perfect ridden animal" John James W.P.C.S. Royal Welsh Judges report 2006
